How do I get started?
Download Story Languages from the App Store, select your target language, and start reading a beginner story. Tap any word to see its translation and save it to your flashcard deck.
Is Story Languages free?
Story Languages offers a free tier with access to sample stories and limited flashcards. A Pro subscription unlocks all stories, unlimited flashcards, and conjugation tables. An AI Pro subscription adds unlimited AI tutor features.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Story Languages → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Which languages are supported?
Story Languages currently supports 9 languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
How does the spaced repetition system work?
We use the FSRS algorithm to schedule flashcard reviews at optimal intervals. When you review a card, rate how well you remembered it (Again/Hard/Good/Easy). The algorithm adjusts the next review time based on your response, so you review cards just before you'd forget them.
Can I use the app offline?
Stories and flashcards you've already loaded are available offline. The AI tutor and translation features require an internet connection.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@storylanguages.com and we'll process your account deletion request along with all associated data.
