By downloading, installing, or using Story Languages (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Story Languages is a language learning application that provides stories, flashcards, and AI-powered tutoring to help users learn languages. The App is available on iOS devices.

3. User Accounts

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers free and premium tiers. Premium features require an active subscription.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the App
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated systems to scrape content or abuse the AI features
Submit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content through the AI chat feature

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, stories, and content, is the property of StoryLanguages and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Classic stories in the public domain are used with proper attribution.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The AI tutor and other AI-powered features are provided for educational purposes. AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. The AI should not be considered a substitute for formal language education.

8. Limitation of Liability

Story Languages is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
